I plan to buy a new mobile phone and DreamLife/Connect would be the reason to decide for a Symbian E7 instead of an Android.
But will it work on this Symbian Version - and what if i upgrade to Annna or Belle then?

I've just tested DreamLife on the latest version of Belle running on the E7, and it actually works better than it used to (obviously lots of defects in the OS were fixed from Symbian^3). The Anna and Belle upgrades were actually big improvements over Symbian^3, at least on my N8, and I assume the E7's similar hardware makes the situation the same on it.

So you can take your existing version of DreamLife and still run it on an E7.

DreamLife/Connect would be a strong reason to buy a Symbian Phone over Android or iPhone.
Decision depends a bit on the company, though.
