You can activate it in the Contact view by choosing More > Find > Key match. Key match is like predictive text, and will match each letter represented by each keypress, so pressing "2" will search for "a,b and c" and so forth. For example, to search for "Simon," you would only need to press "7, 4, 6, 6 and 6" once each instead of having to press each key multiple times to select the correct letter.

The standby screen on your phone has a bunch of icons on it, which you can change to access the operations and applications that you use most frequently. We recommend changing your Contacts icon to the DreamConnect 3 icon. On Sony Ericsson phones, scroll to the icon you want to replace and go to More > Replace > Application. Find DreamConnect 3 in the list to create the schortcut on your standby screen.

By holding down the back key on your phone, you will return to the standby screen, no matter how far into an application you are. This is great news for those who have DreamConnect 3 as a shortcut on the standby screen. If for example you want to exit an application and go straight to DreamConnect 3, simply hold in the back key until you return to the standby screen, and tap on the shortcut.
